Student Handbook

Program Methodology and Process

The relationship that we have with our students is extremely important to us and we want to make sure that you enjoy the experience of learning with us and that we meet your educational needs in terms of your chosen career and by providing pathways of progression to maximise your learning potential.

Malpractice Policy

Procedures to be followed in case of alleged or suspected Malpractice or Maladministration.

The policy sets out how EduWW & HE learners or other personnel should work with us to deal with such cases and the steps which must be followed when reporting suspected or actual cases of malpractice and maladministration. It also identifies the college’s responsibilities in dealing with such cases and the steps that will be followed when reviewing such cases.

Internal Verification Policy

Procedures to be followed in Internal Verification Policy

Internal verification is the process through which Education World Wide (EDUWW) ensures that all assignments are marked in a consistent manner and assessors receive feedback in order to further improve their assessment practice and judgments. EDUWW seeks to ensure that the requirements of the awarding body, ATHE, are met.

Admissions Policy

This document sets out the Education World Wide Admissions Policy.

Education World Wide fosters a diverse online learning community in which our students will network with people from different cultures, thereby enhancing their skills of critical reasoning, teamwork, and communication, and thus preparing them for successful participation in their chosen careers and roles.

Regulations Governing Complaints From Applicants

The Education World Wide is committed to ensuring that we provide for our applicants a high quality and fair admissions procedure in line with our Admissions Policy.

We recognize, however, that there may be occasions when applicants feel that they have cause for complaint. This Complaints Procedure sets out how applicants may seek to have complaints addressed. It should be recognized that the vast majority of applicant complaints can be handled fairly, amicably, and to the satisfaction of all concerned without recourse to this procedure.

Regulations governing student complaints

Where a student feels that their legitimate expectations are not being met, or where misunderstandings about the nature of the Education World Wide, the Education World Wide expects that problems will be speedily and effectively dealt with.

Advice on the operation of the complaints regulations can be obtained from the Quality Office, office@eduww.net. The latter can also provide assistance in formulating complaints, and in supporting students throughout the formal stages of the complaints procedure.

Equality and diversity policy

This is reflected in the core values of the Education World Wide Strategy

The Education World Wide is committed to creating and sustaining a positive and supportive working environment for our staff and excellent teaching and learning experience for our students. We aspire that staff is equally valued and respected, and students are encouraged to thrive academically. As a provider of employment and education, we value the diversity of our staff and students. We are committed to providing a fair, equitable, and mutually supportive learning and working environment for our students and staff.

Dignity Through Work and Study Policy

The failure of Education World Wide staff and students to behave with dignity, courtesy and respect towards others can harm individuals and impair the functioning and reputation of the Education World Wide.

The Education World Wide is committed to supporting, developing, and promoting equality and diversity in all of its practices and activities. We aim to establish an inclusive culture, free from discrimination, and based on the values of dignity, courtesy, and respect. We recognize the right of every person to be treated in accordance with these values.
